Professional Experience

Julie Briggs is an associate with the firm.  She began her legal career in the Corporate Finance and Securities section of Vinson & Elkins LLP in Houston, where she represented public companies on debt and equity offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Since returning to practice in her hometown of Austin, Julie has focused her practice on real estate and general business matters. Julie’s multi-disciplinary experience also includes serving as in-house counsel for one of the nation’s largest semiconductor manufacturing facilities and as a C.P.A. with Arthur Andersen L.L.P., where she modeled federal tax structuring strategies for large public companies within an M&A context.

Details of Practice

Julie’s transactional real estate experience focuses on representing clients in the acquisition, disposition, development, and leasing of commercial real property. Julie also advises borrowers in connection with financing transactions.
