Professional Experience
Mr. Jackson is an Associate with the firm. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as Assistant Attorney General for the Office of the Texas Attorney General, where he conducted substantive legal review of debt issuances by a variety of public entities, including cities, counties, and public improvement districts. Mr. Jackson also served as Associate Counsel at Texas REALTORS®, advising members on various real estate related contract and statutory issues.

Details of Practice
Mr. Jackson’s practice involves representing owners and developers with projects that benefit from the unique financing structure facilitated by the creation of a public improvement district. This includes creation of such districts, drafting financing agreements, landowner agreements, and acquisition and reimbursement agreements, issuing bonds, and navigating the unique constraints involved with developing in these types of special districts.
